What is a Reverse Auction?

In a reverse auction environment the buyer or talent seeker is in the driver's seat. Our reverse auction environment allows you to post your need (your project), and talented service providers bid to win your project and provide an innovative solution to your need. The competition to win your business puts downward pressure on the bid price, significantly reducing the cost of the service.

Do I have have select the lowest bid?

The buyer is under no obligation to select the lowest bid (or any bid at all), and may select any bidder that they choose based on their own subjective criteria.

How Can I be Assured of Satisfaction With the Completed Project

This begins with the description of the project posted. Be clear, detailed, and very thorough when you post your project. Don't assume. Before the project begins, discuss the details and agree on the deliverables. State clearly "This is what I want, and this is what I expect it to look like."  Agree on a delivery date and method of delivery. Communication is the key to successfully outsourcing a project. This allows the buyer to deposit funds into escrow where they will be held until project completion. Only the talent seeker/buyer can release payment to the provider, and only the provider can cancel the escrow. This protects both parties and provides a good sense of security and trust.   But do rest assured, our service providers make a living based on customer satisfaction, good feedback, and outstanding service. Talent providers are motivated to exceed your expectations and resolve any gray issues to your satisfaction.

There are situations when partial advanced payment may be requested. This is sometimes true in larger, labor intensive projects. In these situations, as with any free marketplace situation, be cautious and use good judgment. Consider the reputation of the provider, the schedule of delivery, references, etc., and make sure you have a good comfort level with the provider.

We encourage you to rate and provided feedback about the performance of your provider. The details of this rating help others decide if this provider will be a good fit for them. Service providers who do not maintain a good - excellent rating are removed from our pool of Talent, so please consider your feedback thoughtfully.
